Hi, I was banded on Aug. 27th. How much Protein did your doc tell you to have. Mine said between 40 and 60 grams daily. So, I found that when I was hungry I needed another Protein Drink. I can see how that might not be so helpful....it doesn't seem like food (Darn it!). When do you go back for your diet advancement to mushies? Hang in there! You CAN do it. Remember the distraction techniques your doctor or the doctors support team talked about??

Ive been having fage(greek) yogurt with strawberry preserves for Breakfast with Water for a snack sf pudding lunch Soup more water (mized with crystal light) snack sf pudding or more yogurt(all mixed with Protein whey unflavored) i have a hard time drinkin Protein Shakes (they gag me) snack sf popsicle dinner more soup and lots of water...one more week and then i can have mushies im looking forworad to making homemade mashed potatoes( i cant believe im excited for that)...good luck to all

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
