notateechanow 7 Posted June 8, 2009 Thanks I am thinking I need to start from the begining again. I am heading back to the gym today. I should be getting a fill today too. Hopefuly that should kick me off in the right direction too. Cerrin, That's probably exactly what you need. Start slowly back at the gym and take it one workout at a time. Get the fill and get back on track. As Chris said, the tool is there for you for whenever you're ready to use it. When you're able to focus on yourself, it'll be there. May today be just the new beginning you need! Good luck! Paige
christasha 0 Posted June 9, 2009 Cerrin . . . good for you getting back to the gym . . .and hope you got your fill! As for me, I've had major acid reflux, and today he took 1 cc out of my 10 cc band, leaving me with 0.75 . . . omg I'm going to really have to watch it now . . . but I was so miserable! If you EVER start getting acid reflux, get into the doc NOW . . . it was instant relief to get it losened up . . . I was eating tums like they were candy this weekend. Cerrin 3 Posted June 9, 2009 Well I am a definitly tight today. All my other fills I have been able to eat mushy and soft foods with no problem the day after the fill...right now I have SF pudding and have only been able to eat about half of one of those cups. And I am full...burping full. lol Yep this is what I needed. Thanks for the encouragement. I needed this tight fill to make myself get back on track.
notateechanow 7 Posted June 9, 2009 OH, Chris...that's not comfortable at all. I had a few days with that horribly at night, so much so that Tums didn't relieve it. I had an unfill 3 days later and lost 6 pounds. I couldn't even drink Water by the time I had the fill removed! It's just miserable. Cerrin, I'm so glad to hear you've gotten a fill. Sometimes that's all we need to get us back on track. My surgeon doesn't allow anything but liquids for day 1 and soft foods on day 2. Be careful and go slowly...it's strange to have restriction again when it's been a while since you've had it! Good luck! :cursing:
Cerrin 3 Posted June 9, 2009 Yeah I could only get liquids in yesterday. Today I can eat more solidish food but I can definitly tell I had a fill. I am nothing like I was a few days ago. I had a whole chicken breast for goodness sake. lol I am just glad I have the band. there is no telling how much I would have eatten without it.
