Just a quick question

Recommended Posts

Sorry, kinda new here. I looked but maybe I'm missing it. Is there a way to see my recent post, like I will post something, maybe a question and then get on the next day and I can't find it. If I find one of mine I can then click on my name as I will be able to do when Im done with this and then I can see recent post.

Is there a easier way? I am so sorry if it is right in front of me and I'm just not seeing it. Thanks for your help.

Hmmm...it emails me any time someone responds to a post I've responded to (or to a thread I started)...I must've signed up for that but don't remember doing it.

HOWEVER...

I think if you mouse over your name it should give you the option to see all your posts. I don't think you have to click on your name...but that will work too.

Yes you do...just left click your name once.

That works on any name, by the way...

Right but I have to find one of my post right? I can't just go to some where on the home page or my profile, right?

I really don't know; like I said, they email me any time there is a post to a thread I responded to or one I started. You can find your posts easily by entering your screen name at the search bar at the top right of the page...

I just found another place...on the home page...down the right side are options. If you click on "subscribed thread" you will see all the threads you've posted to and/or started. hope that helps.

You can also go to forums and from there user cp. It will show all the threads you're subscribed to. I used to get an email anytime someone posted in a thread I am subscribed to, but for some reason, the emails stopped. Now I just go to user CP

At the bottom of your list of subscriptions, where it says "Move to Folder", you can choose what kind of alerts you get when someone replies to one of your subscribed threads. You can choose no email notification, instant notification, daily or weekly notification. You can also delete subscriptions and move them to different folders that you can make.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
