Kbel 0 Posted June 30, 2005 I was banded on Monday and it hurt quite a bit! Thank goodness for kind nurses and painkillers! That said, the pain I feel today (Thursday) is so much less than yesterday or Tuesday - the body is amazing like that. It just doesn't remember pain! I know that tomorrow will be even better and the benefits will be worth every 'ouch'! I figure that if I can survive leg waxing, eyebrow plucking, period pain and a broken heart or two then this is a piece of cake! Kristen
PRETTYPINKKITTY 0 Posted June 30, 2005 I Haven't Had My Band Yet, And I'm A Little Scared, Too. But, I Had My First Son All-natural (defffinately A 10) And My 2nd Son By C-section (another 10). I Stayed In The Hospital 2 Days After The C-section And Was On My Own Monday With My New Baby And 4year Old Since My Husband Had Just Gotten A New Job And Worked 12 Hour Night Shifts. That Was Not Fun But I Made It And Of Course It Was Worth It. So I'm Counting On The Band Surgery To Be A Breeze, But That Doesn't Mean I'm Not Scared! Good Luck! Mariposa Bella 3 Posted June 30, 2005 Don't worry, I'm a big baby, and it wasn't painful at all, believe me I know what pain is, I've given birth and had a c-section. It is uncomfortable, but not painful, I was sore in my right shoulder from the gas, but I was not in pain at all. I do understand where your coming from though, I am having a tt and some other ps prodedures and I'm not looking forward to being sliced from hip to hip. But I want it so bad that it will be worth the pain. I know I'll be crying like a baby regretting it on Monday night and probably the rest of the week, but it will be worth it. Well good luck and keep in touch. I'll be back in two weeks, talk to you soon.

princess_n_thep 2 Posted July 5, 2005 Very sore, but not painful. Felt like crampy like when I got my tubes tied. Pain scale about a 2.5 the first week. Then a 1 for 2 weeks. Then nothing.
