New and Excited

:w00t:Hello, Iam new to this whole thing. I will go for my pre-op on Sept. 23rd, and they have scheduled my Lap-Band for Oct. 3rd in Superior, Wisconsin. I am excited:lol: and scared:scared2: all at the same time. would love any helpful hints anyone has. I am a 44 year old woman with two wonderful boy. (Age, 15 and 20) Have a wonderful husband.:wink_smile:

Hi Cyndi and welcome to the board. A couple things I'd suggest is checking in on the 2008 Bandsters thread under the October group and you'll find the other folks who are going through stage by stage the same things as you. Its a great way to interact. Also, check out your Wisconsin thread under USA Local Support groups section and you might find others in your area to share with. Good luck!
