Chrisann 0 Posted September 12, 2008 Anyone had a fill this month? Went to the doctors today and got .2cc's bringing me to 6.4cc's in a 10cc band. I am now down 65 pounds!!!!! My BMI 39.5!!!!
AmyMT 0 Posted September 12, 2008 I am going in next Wednesday for another fill (4th one). I am only down about 30 pounds, but I am down several pant sizes and at least one shirt size! I am on track with exercising every day, so I am hopeful this next little fill will help me not eat quite as much in the evenings. ~Amy
Chrisann 0 Posted September 13, 2008 Amy, Losing inches is better than losing the weight. You are probably converting fat to muscle!!! Keep it up. I don't exercise nearly as much as I used to and still flabby.!!
phowell 0 Posted September 16, 2008 I wish I could have a fill....it is getting better, though. At least I am losing again. Somedays I can eat everything in sight and still be hungry and other days I can hardly eat Soup so I think I will stay away from fills for a little while longer. I am just so glad to see the scales going down!!! Finally I lost past 30 pounds....Chris--get a fill for me too, k?:tongue:Congratulations to making it to a BMI less than 40. Getting healthy is great!!!!!
kintime 0 Posted September 16, 2008 I'm going in tomorrow for a slight fill. I haven't weighed myself since early August. I wanted my mind to catch up to my body because I was having some serious body image issues. I'm thinking I must have lost something, cause I bought a dress and it was a size 6. Yes, can you believe it. Granted it was one of those stretchy sweater dresses, but I feel good. My restriction is good. It could be better. Wish me well for tomorrow and I will report back with how it went. Kin
AmyMT 0 Posted September 18, 2008 I got my fill yesterday. He tried to put in 1cc but I was getting Water stuck so the nurse took out about .5 cc of what he added and I was able to get the Water down. So I think I have about 7.5 cc's in my 10 cc band. Here's to good restriction! :wink2: (those are Protein shakes, of course :crying:) ~Amy
AmyMT 0 Posted September 30, 2008 I finally understand what good restriction feels like... and it is GREAT! I feel so much more in control of my eating and I have even lost about 5 or 6 lbs since my fill appt. :cursing: I did start to freak out a little yesterday when I was feeling cold Water going down really slowly, but then I realized that it is that TOM and knew that a lot of others get tighter then, so that helped me calm myself down. ~Amy
Joaquin 0 Posted September 30, 2008 I fill like I am going backwards. I have had two unfills however I am still loosing weight so I am not complaining. The day I started my pre-op diet I weighed 250 a week later, the day of my surgery, I weighed 240. As of yesterday getting my second unfill I weigh 166. I don't actually plan on loosing any more weight because my weight is 166 but I look like I weigh 20-30 pounds less, mainly because of my height and build. One of these days I need to learn how to update my ticker or just remove it.
HeatherO 7 Posted October 5, 2008 I got 1.5 on September 23 after a 2cc unfill . . . . but I am feeling way too much restriction (can't eat any solids). I am going to go for a slight unfill on 10/14. I went for many, many months with the perfect fill at sweet spot but just started having trouble. I am sure that being pregnant must have something to do with it.
