pixel 0 Posted September 11, 2008 Several years ago, I bought a universal whole life insurance policy through MetLife. I don't remember what my weight was at the time but I bought the policy at least 10 years ago. I do remember asking about it when I bought it and my rep said the loss would have to be significant and I thought "yeah that will never happen, nevermind". Now that I'm banded, should my premium go down since my risk for obesity related diseases is also reduced? I don't want to call the insurance company thinking maybe they won't want to cover me any more because of banding. Thanks!

I don't think I would offer the info about being banded but I would tell them that you lost a large amount of weight since taking out the policy hehe
