My Dr. is in Aurora, Colorado. He charges roughly $9900 for the complete surgery. This includes your first consultation, preop, nutrition consultation, surgery, hospital, postop, and the first 3 months (from your surgery date) of fills are also included. After the third month he only charges $15 per fill.

If you want more information, let me know.

Wow, the Colorado package is awesome. Mine is in San Antonio.. Dr. Rincon, for $12,000 for the surgery, hospital, anesthesia & 3 fills. But there was about another $1,000 in consultation, nutritionist, testing, psych eval and meds.

I flew to Mexico for my surgery. Total cost $7800 including airfair, transportation, surgery, and 1 year of fills. Dr. Rodriguez in Monterrey. I was nervous at first about going to Mexico, but the hospital was exactly like the hospitals here in the US, and everyone was super nice.

Dr. Daly in Atlanta was $14,500 including surgery/outpatient surgery center (it would have been about $3k more for hospital), and I get a year of follow up/fills included. I was VERY happy I had it close to home although I considered going to Mexico. But with 2 small children at home, I wanted to be as close as possible. I also had a great surgery.

Thanks everyone for chiming in with this info. I actually called Dr. K's office in Colorado today - sweet deal for sure & Natalie is so very nice. However, they don't accept Care Credit.

I am trying to find a place closer at a low rate (or, as close to that as possible). I am going to call more places tomorrow. Again, thanks and I appreciate all responses received.

I went to Calexico Mexico to have my surgery with Dr. Alberto Aceves. Everything far exceeded my expectation for my surgery in Mexico. The total cost was $7500 including my flight to and from San Diego, pre-op & post-op test, 1 night hotel stay two night hospital stay and the surgery. I also went to the Dentist while in Mexico got two cavities fixed, teeth cleaned and whiten for 300 bucks or 3000 pesos which ever way you look at it...

LapSF charges 14000 for a band and that includes a certain amount of follow-up (I'm not sure how much though -- probably 1 or 2 years). It should also include the psych consult and the nutritional evaluation. They have a counselor and dietician on staff -- you can use them pre-op and then use them post-op too if you need extra help.

I have been quoted 13,500 at Journey for Life. With Dr. Collier, Houston, Texas. This includes 1 year follow ups with nuritionist, dr visit, and refills for life. I haven't done it yet but I have been approved with Care Credit which they do take and I believe they have offices around the country.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.
