DivaStyleCoach 89 Posted September 10, 2008 Congratulations NewMe2008! Now that you have your surgery date, start making plans for when you get home from surgery...get your food in place, make sure you have non-binding clothes, etc... I'm sure some of the surgery veterans here will have more ideas for stuff you can do to make things easy for yourself during recovery. You'll be a "New You" very soon!
aprilapple 1 Posted September 10, 2008 ebonyrose I agree. I started nesting like I was pregnant. I bought food for my clear liquid and full liquid post op diet. I cleaned and organized my kitchen cabinets, put a new comforter on my bedand cleaned carpets. I even bought several new pairs of pjs. It all made time pass quickly plus I felt more confident going into surgery.

Anyway, I still have 3 weeks to go, but I have done the same thing. I have bought Protein shakes, my pre-op diet shakes, and new very loose night gowns. You would think that I was having surgery next week. I have been planning my days off from work and everything. I should be very prepared when the time comes. TravelLady48 0 Posted September 11, 2008 NewMe2008: You will have your date before you know it. Hope you will join me in Oct. I have my nutrition counseling Sep. 16, then I know I'm on count down. I've also starting getting things together for after surgery. Best of luck. Anne
