Stupid NSV, BUT I can see bits of the chair seat as I'm sitting on it. Here I was, sitting at my desk, lamenting/cursing my plateau, and for the first time ever I noticed that there is chairseat visible to the left and right of my legs, and some chair is showing between my legs (I'm wearing pants, it's not that Im wearing a skirt hiked up to the wazoo!!:D).

Yippee!!!! Tapshoes spins on her chair like a giddy kid at a soda shop (those of you old enough to know what that is can appreciate the excitement of that novelty).

That's a great one! Congrats! I looked down at my chair and well, let's just say I can feel chair on the sides. I have noticed that when I have a plateau I seem to lose the most inches. And boy, if I could explain the weight loss process I'd be a very rich woman.

Great NSV. My recent favorite is sitting in my desk chair and crossing my legs! It has been so, so, so long since I was able to do that. Thought I might scream, but thought my employees would be alarmed.

Today's NSV was going to Stein Mart and buying a size L skirt at 75% off. It feels so good to be an L!!!

I hear ya! It's wonderful that even though you are at a plateau, that your body is still thinning. It's these things that keep us motivated!

That is hilarious! I too have had this enlighting experience and of all things, ON MY LAWMOWER!! Mowed my grass the other day, and thought something felt funny. Looked down and there was seat showing on both sides of my thighs. Its just the little things isn't it?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
