bassriley 0 Posted September 4, 2008 Hi Guys, Well, I'm not one day post op. Getting ready to leave the hospital and thought I'd do a quick post. Yesterday was not bad at all-no pain. Didn't realize that was because the anesthesia hadn't quite worn off. This morning was a little rough-most just in terms of gas pain in my abdomen, which to some degree is still continuing. At this point, I just can't wait to get home. I think the first thing I said as I came out of anesthesia was, "Sh*t, I can't get out of this now." But I'm really excited about living a new life where food doesn't have to be my enemy anymore. Bryan

firemedic154 0 Posted September 5, 2008 Congrats on your success gentelman: So, I see that this thread is for men. I got banded 3-months ago and got my second fill last week. I lost > 30lbs., from 331--> 297 ant I feel good. I do have 1 question. My surgeon told me that he has heard of this but he does not have down right proof. During the a.m., when you guys attempt to eat Breakfast, does your bands, for a lack of a better term, feel tight? I can barely get my food down during the a.m. but I am able to eat normally during the afternoon / dinner. So, does the a.m. / just waking up resulting in a tight band? With regards, Layne
mediummike 0 Posted September 5, 2008 I do feel tighter in the am and the band does loosesn through the day. From what I hear, that is common for many bandsters although I have never figured out exactly why....
