You need to do this in the "edit signature" portion of your profile information. If you go to links at the top of your screen you will see the edit signature under user control. Then you should be able to click on my ticker and it will take you to the website. You can make a ticker there. Then, I think you have to copy the code at the bottom that is for forums and paste it into the edit signature box. DO NOT try to paste it at the bottom where it says pics and stuff. I could NEVER get that to work for the ticker. The rest of the information (like my band dates and stuff) I just typed into the edit signature box. Hit the preview signature button and see if it looks correct before saving. Try this and see if it works.

I cant get my to do either. I dont see nothing about a ticker!

You have to make the ticker at a website like www.tickerfactory.com . There are others out there, but that is the one I have seen the most. After you make it there, you come back to lapbandtalk and edit your signature. You copy the code from the ticker website into the edit signature box. Then you type in any other information that you want inclduded in your signature in the edit signature box also.

I hope this helps!:crying:

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
