shaversd 0 Posted September 4, 2008 Just wondering how soon after surgery a person can start walking/jogging. How long did each of you wait?
SanDiegoPhotog 0 Posted September 4, 2008 My surgeon told me that I could start any kind of CARDIO (only cardio) 2 weeks after surgery. I was in no shape to jog . . . so I started walking. I jog now, but that's only with almost 50 pounds off my frame.
Southern Missy 1 Posted September 4, 2008 I started running (couch-2-5K) after he released me at 2 weeks. I did this every other day. I don't do the program itself anymore -- I just do my own thing (still running) but I highly recommend the Couch-2-5K program if you are a novice like me. It is a great way to start out and is extremely helpful in keeping the weight loss steady. Whatever you decide -- Just keep moving!!
