That has got to be the longest sentence I have ever read.

Where'd you get your DDS, on Sesame Street??

LOL ! That is funny! Now I admit I can't spell but I am not a DDS. I sure would not like to go to that dentist!! (still laughing)

If you're for real you should just READ your posts. They SERIOUSLY do not make any sense, so if you're just goofing on everyone ha ha ha...now GO HOME and play with yourself.

They posts ARE kind of stream-of-conciousness, but the more of them you read, the more they start to make sense.

I was starting to think the same thing. A couple messages ago makes complete senses to me now. I think I know where to put the punctuation and I get it.

That almost scares me. The idea that I think like drstan is a little disconcerting.

I'm the opposite. I understood them at first but now I'm completely lost.

The band is more about portion control. It is not magic. You have to work with it.

For me, I find it is not the band itself that makes me not hungry.

I was taught to eat every 3-4 waking hours, whether I am hungry or not. I eat mostly Protein & never more than a cup of food at a time. I would never have imagined that eating like that regularly would turn into rarely being hungry or haivng cravings.

 FUNNY!!! I feel the same way. I now think drstan is for real.

Just really illiterate or maybe doesn't write english well?

They seem to be doing well now though, so that is good. This tread has gone on and on and on-in all directions.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
