Maribelle 0 Posted September 2, 2008 My baby was starting to cry upstairs and I was so hungry so I grabbed a small container of applesauce and quickly ate 3 spoonfuls. Then I bounded upstairs and rocked her for a while. After a few minutes, I noticed a stuck feeling in my chest. I can swallow Water and it goes down, or at least it doesn't come up...can applesauce get stuck? If not, why do I have that lump feeling behind my breastbone? Thanks for any info! AlisonL 1 Posted September 2, 2008 Anyhting you eat fast or gulp down can get "stuck". I have taken a couple of big gulps of coffee and had that feeling. It doesn't seem to last as long as more solid foods. Every time I rush I get in trouble.
Maribelle 0 Posted September 2, 2008 Thanks Alison. I think I figured out that it is gas. I guess when we gulp we force a big air bubble down and it stays there until we burp it up or it filters down somehow. I tried a Gas-X strip and a little soda Water and it is uncomfortable but I'm sure it will be OK soon.
MsScorpio67 0 Posted September 9, 2008 Also your band has periods when it's just tighter at that time. My band might be a tighter in the mornings. Sometimes it's even hard to drink my Protein Shake. A couple of times it's been tighter at night and sometimes I think it's because I've been eating light all day then I try to have a meal and it's like "Oh Hell no!" littlebit181818 0 Posted September 9, 2008 I just can't eat applesauce anymore. Planning on trying it again in a few months.
