SuzieQ240 0 Posted September 1, 2008 Hi All, I was banded on July 29 and go for my 1st fill on Wed. I didn't suffer too much gas pain after surgery but about a week ago I started having gas that radiates up to my jaw and into my temple - feels like brain-freeze. I have this all the time - when I wake up, before I eat and after I eat. Has anyone else had this and if so, is it really gas and how can I get it to stop. This also happens when I bend over. simplycami 0 Posted September 1, 2008 I am so glad you posted this!~ EVERY morning when I wake up I feel that same kind of pressure below my ear (usually left) and jaw. It feels like some type of gas/pressure and I try and swallow or yawn to make it go away. I am really interested to see what other people say!
shrinknme 0 Posted September 1, 2008 being a person that has had a lot of tooth issues I would say it is a tooth problem.. sometimes you can have an absess that you are unaware of that causes lots of pressure..just a suggestion.. cause it sounds kinda weird that it would be gas there.. you may want to have it checked out. if it is a tooth it would be bothering you when you wake up because of the balance change and the pressure change in your head from the blood replacing itself and after u eat because of the pressure of chewing.. or when you move a lot just a thought
shrinknme 0 Posted September 1, 2008 I just read the last line of your post and I would definately say its a tooth.. because it hurts when you get extra pressure in your head when you bend over and the blood rushes there.
