Fox is not biased ? now I have heard it all. That's why Sarah Palin's next interview (a week from now), is on Fox Nexswith Sean Hannidy. Everyone know's Hannidy is the pillar of bypartisnship. It will delicious watching him droll all over her.

Clusk it's not biase if you are a republican... I have watched it a few times and I think they are very conservative - but again I can't talk with any expert knowledge - Also it's the channel of choice for all my Staunch Republican Friends - they are always quoting someone from Fox..

They Love Bill O'Reilly.... I don't even know what channel he is on - but they were always talking about him - so I watched him once - and that was enought for me..

I stick with shows like Grey's Antomey - CSI Miami - ER - Lost - American Idol...

But I gotta say - and he is biase - James Carver - I love him... I love his accent and they way he responds the looks on his face - that's me - I can't hide my emotions ...

I like George Stephonafolas (sp) he seems pretty down the middle to me..

It's funny because I am a registered democrat but I find Fox to be the most unbiased news program out there and I watch as many as I possibly can. Have you ever watched CNN? Talk about bias.

I'm also one of those people who won't make up her mind until after the debates are over and we're much closer to the election.

I think I'm fair-minded enough to admit when I see bias on the conservative side. It's sort-of like those blind studies where they ask people about "Candidate A" and "Candidate B", with specific beliefs and policies attributed to each one; people will choose one over the other, but when you attach a NAME to Candidates A and B, all of a sudden people reverse their opinions.

I challenge anyone to cover the names of the candidates above and look objectively at the questions asked. There IS a difference, and a big one. Add to that the fact that it was the VP candidate that got the tough questions, and it just magnifies the bias.

Okay Gadget lets get real. Would you really say you have been objective on this thread? I simply don't recall where you have been critical of your candidates (maybe you have somewhere but I really think it would have stood out to me). I recall you being objective once when someone posted that stupid youtube video and you mentioned it was garbage (or something to that extent). But I hardly think that qualifies you as the poster child for objectivity.

Regarding the interview let’s use your objective skills and look at the whole situation. This was her first interview and we as a nation don't have much information regarding her political views, so it's important that someone ask her those questions. After all we as voters should have this information in order to make a well informed decision, right? Barack has been interviewed hundreds of times including: Meet the Press, Face the Nation, O'Riley Factor...hardly cakewalk interviews not to mention numerous debates.

I too try to be an objective individual as I am pretty good at considering the others point of view. But I am also objective enough to admit when I am not able to be objective.

I never said Fox didn't have conservative commentators -- it's the reporting in general that isn't biased. Having Sean Hannity as a commentator doesn't make Fox conservative (never mind the fact that his co-commentator, Alan Colmes, is liberal) any more than having Joe Scarborough make MSNBC conservative or having Glenn Beck makes CNN conservative.

There is a difference between commentators and reporters. That's why MSNBC pulled Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann off of reporting -- because they were too biased for reporting. They weren't too biased for their own shows, as commentators, but they were too obviously biased for reporting.

Based on that reasoning, then, Charles Gibson is conservative as well?

I can say from my experience that most of the military guys do NOT like CNN. The military families I know all watch Fox and believe them to be the most balanced. You have to remember that Hannity is on with his side kick so that they give both sides..Hannity is far right, and Colms is far left.

Not only will the next President lead our country, he will lead our military. Since my son and daughter are in the Army (my husband just retired after 28 yrs) he will be their "boss". We can't fathom Obama doing that role. We knew before the war started that this war was going to take awhile...at least 10 years or longer was what we were told, after all, we were leaving a country without a government. I also remember before we went into Iraq...Democrats were all over Bush for not going in there and doing something about Saddam. It is a FACT that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction...he used them on his own people.

• The security of our country is one of the main issues for me. I do not like Mccain's view on illegal immigrants (don't get me wrong her, I am for immigration, but not ILLEGAL immigration).
  
• I am much better off now than what I was when Clinton was in office. I don't like the gas prices, but I don't believe Bush has much control over that.
  
• I am pro-life. In cases of incest or rape, or the mother's life is in danger would be the only exception for me. It is legal in this country, but I don't have to like it.
  
• We are small business owners
  
• Our business is a Gunsmithing shop
  
• I work in Healthcare..I am not for universal healthcare.
  
• I do not believe in a Socialist government
  
• I have a gay brother...so my view on gay marriage are a little different from some republicans
  
• I don't like Palin just because she is a woman. I like her because her views are very similar to mine and I think she is a good balance for McCain.
  
• And, I believe people with lower BMI's can get a lapband if they make an educated decision with their surgeon and it is medically needed.

BTW, I was the one that mentioned the stupid youtube video. It was discussed on a National talk radio station that day and there were multiple interviews with the guy. I think the guy is crazy and I don't believe it. BUT, if it were Palin or McCain accused of having a relationship with the opposite sex, people here would be jumping all over it.

I definitely have an opinion on things. I'm not hiding that and I never have. But I'm also willing to call a spade a spade. If there's something with the Republicans I disagree with, I will absolutely say it. And if I think they've misstepped or misstated facts, I will absolutely point it out.

You may be right in claiming that I've only agreed with liberals once on this thread, saying the YouTube video was garbage, but the quantity of my agreement with liberals doesn't also quantify my objectivity. It only quantifies my agreement with liberals. In other words, just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean I've abandoned the ability to be objective.

I think what offends the left wing are the radio talk shows. I can't see where they're that bothered by TV news programs as there really aren't that many swinging right. I argue all the time with my republican husband about issues but I still will always watch Fox for more objective news program. If I want to see the spin I'll flip to MSNBC or CNN. I registered democrat as many young voters do and have remained a democrat but it doesn't mean I only vote democrat. I just hate to see people be hypocritical about objectivity.

His mission, if it is to control energy supplies, also, coming from and through Russia, that’s a dangerous position for our world to be in, if we were to allow that to happen.
