moredawg6 0 Posted August 27, 2008 I am straddling the BMI of 35 but have heart disease and sleep apnea as well as high cholesterol and blood pressure. My surgery date is Oct 10th and will be nearly ready (Sept 15th) to send to insurance for approval. Now that I have committed to having this surgery, I am afraid my insurance (Medica) will deny it.
