SilverBand 0 Posted August 27, 2008 It depends on the surgeon and on your insurance company. It is a little faster if you are self pay. There are a lot of variables to consider. Toofattofight 5 Posted August 29, 2008 The surgery for me wasn't painful at all. An hour after the surgery I was up walking around feeling great. My flight home from Mexico to Florida wasn't quite comfortable though. I flew home two days after my surgery, if I could have waited another day I would. I had a lot of gas in me from surgery and sitting on a plane for many hours with your stomach bloated is very uncomfortable. Other then my discomfort on the plane ride i've had no pain.
