*slim* 2 Posted August 28, 2008 Okay so all my stuff was submitted to the insurance exactly one week ago and i was told it would take 6 weeks to a month to get approved. So to my surprise i got a call today saying they got the approval and they have scheduled my surgery for Thursday!!!! I can't believe this has happened so fast it has taken less than a month from the first time i walked into the doctors office until now this is crazy. When i first went to the doctor they told me i would have to wait six months to do a presurgery diet so the insurance would approve it but i begged them to submit what i had and they did and it went through i am going crazy i was not ready for this. Any last minute tips of what i should run out and buy or have on hand.....I could scream i am so happy!!!!:crying::thumbsup::eek::smile2::confused2: Today is your surgery day! I will be thinking of you and any others having surgery. Way to go!:crying:

Love2Lose 0 Posted August 28, 2008 Tiffany, good luck with your surgery sweetie! I wish I saw this post sooner. Get yourself a good sports bra!!! It was my lifesaver as one of my incisions was right where my bra wire sits! Trust me, you'll thank me later! :smile2:

Love2Lose 0 Posted August 28, 2008 HAHA To heck with a bra! I'm letting these puppies be free for 7 whole days while I'm out of work! :smile2: LOL...you know I did that too, but I had people over visiting alot so I had to put a bra on. And even after my week off from work, wearing a normal bra with underwire sucked! So the sports bra really did help! Your incision sites will definitely be sore for atleast a few weeks. It took me a full month to be able to say that I had no more soreness or pain.
