FALLEN AND CAN'T GET UP!!!! :crying:

I have been seriously not following the rules, not working out, eating around my band and just being lazy!! I can't seem to get re-motivated. I still have 25-30 more pounds to go!! What is my deal?

Any advice? Anyone been here? How did you get back on track?

not to be funny, but there may be some underlying factors there that you may have to deal with and professionals may help you, good luck and I wish you all of the best.

You're just going through a rough patch. Try to remember what made you get the band in the first place. Try to remember all the times you've tried before ON YOUR OWN, without the help of the band. You will make it...don't give up!!! If you're that close to goal, you've come too far to look back now. Remember, you are one of the blessed ones who was able to get the band. There are countless people out there with no insurance and no means to pay for the procedure. Count your blessings and stay strong...you can and WILL make it to the finish line!!

Quit your dang whining and get your butt in gear!!!!!!!!:wink2:

Now that I said that, I wish someone would tell ME that once in awhile. Seriously, you have come so far and are so close to reaching your goal. I think sometimes its scary to think that we will be at goal. This losing weight has been such a part of our lives, its scary to wonder if the weight will stay off. There is a lot more to it than just getting to goal, we have to maintain. There could be some issues that you might need someone to help you go through and deal with.

Maybe change up your eating and exercise. Do something a little different to jump start your loss again. You CAN do this, this is what YOU wanted!!! You did this to get healthy, now go get it girl!!!!!

If you find out, let me know. I'm STILL 30 lbs from goal. I've been as close as 20 lbs from goal then drift up. Then down. Then up.

I guess I'm just going to stay here for a while....

*sigh*

Or...I could actually exercise and eat fewer carbs.....

*sigh*

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
