maleliz777 0 Posted August 24, 2008 Never noticed this before surgery but when im not breathing in, I can actually see my heart beat in my tummy area. Anyone else have this or is this normal? Thinking maybe because I still have gas.
gilta 0 Posted August 24, 2008 No, I cannot say I have have had that. It possibly could be the gas though.
Celnun 0 Posted August 24, 2008 I have always been able to see my tummy going up and down in rythm with my heart. And this was before the surgery.....lol. Hopefully the fat will go down and then my heart won't jiggle my tummy.
Roheryn 0 Posted August 25, 2008 I've seen it watching the Athletes on the television! I've also seen it on myself at times...it is weird...
LB4Life 0 Posted August 25, 2008 maleliz, Why YES, this is me too Since my surgery on Thursday, I feel my heart beating so strongly that I see my chest and sometimes my belly thumping along, very weird. I can also feel and hear my heartbeat much more intensely than before my surgery. I'm guessing it's normal and that perhaps we are more intune with our bodies now. I also find that I'm getting lots of walking in so that tends to get the heart beating too. Before my surgery, for the last 5 months or so, I've had terrible discomfort in my right ankle and could not go for long walks anymore. Now and since I woke up from surgery, I no longer have ankle pain and am enjoying being able to walk around without hobbling about like an older woman (me being only 32 and all). They put those massage booties on my legs during the surgery, so I bet that has something to do with it
