The day finally arrived. I received my new lapband today. Everything has gone smoothe so far. I am a little sore but the pain medication takes care of it. No gas cramps so far either. Thanks to everyone who writes. I did a lot of reading on this site over the last week to get me through this.

Congratulations! I am glad you are doing so well! I, like you never had any gas pains at all.....This has been the best thing I have ever done for myself! I think you will be very happy you did this!
