lisanz 0 Posted August 22, 2008 Hi Had my second fill today and really feeling good, but at the end of the day when I had a look at the site where the doctor put the needle in was this great big brusie, really bad one that makes me fell sick just looking at it. I didn't feel a thing at the fill and It dosen't really hurt, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them thanks LISANZ:confused:
Jodi_620 37 Posted August 22, 2008 I haven't yet but I was told after my first fill that some people experience bruising.
ReadySteadyGo 8 Posted August 22, 2008 I have had three fills and for two of them I did have very angry bruises. It's normal. Don't fret. I mean if it takes up your entire stomach call the Dr, but if it just small don't let the darkness scare you. It will go away.
ywilson 0 Posted August 22, 2008 I just had my first fill on Wednesday and I too have a bruise which will definately go away. The funny thing is that the pressing that the doctor did on my port to locate it hurt more than the needle.
aubrie 6 Posted August 22, 2008 Yup, three out of my four fills caused an ugly bruise. They are about the size of a silver dollar, and they take three weeks to go away. I don't know why they last so long, but they don't hurt.
linksmom 0 Posted August 25, 2008 my first fill is Sept. 3. But I do bruise very easily. When I went to the hospital to give blood 2 weeks prior to surgery, I had a humungo bruise just from where they took my blood. And she only stuck me once. Here I was only thinking about the needle going in, forgot all about the fact that I'll probably look like some one played Rocky on my belly.
