Good Complete Liquid or Chewable Mutivitamins and proteins

Recommended Posts

Hello Ladies,

I have yet to be banded (Sept 17th is my date!:smile2:) I was just wondering if anyone had any good complete mutivitamins they were taking that were chewable or liquid :confused2:? I've been shopping and haven't really found much. Also, I've heard that in the days after surgey it becomes very difficult to get that reccommended daily Protein amount (60 grms for women) from things like meats and cheese. I've heard of protein bullets which have about 46 grms of Proteins per bullet. But these are somewhat expensive (about $90-$100 for a month supply.) Anyone having much luck with anything else:confused2:?

like you, I am making prep for my surgery. What other things are on your shopping list? I actually bought a personal Water cooler for my office that dispenses hot and cold water . I though that would be great for Soup mixes and hot tea as well.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
