hrv 0 Posted June 7, 2005 I have a stomach bug and I can't keep anything down. My pcp perscribed phenergan but that doesn't seem to be helping. I am throwing up from my toes up and I know this can't be good for my band...Any suggestions???
Mita 2 Posted June 7, 2005 I have heard of some medication that comes in Suppository form for vomiting. Call your doc and see if they can get you some.. Sorry your so sick:(
hrv 0 Posted June 7, 2005 The phenergan that he gave me is in suppository... and not to be gross but it really isn't doing any good there either in the short amount of time that it stays:(
Mita 2 Posted June 7, 2005 Wow don't know what else. The Phenergren I had was a pill I thought maybe that is what you were taking. Second choice would still be to call and get something else. I am sure you have already tried the craker thing?? Other than that sorry no help here just see what the Assistant can tell you. Hope you get some relief. I have tried baby Percy and that has worked wonders for me on that end.
Pathworker 0 Posted June 8, 2005 You can try Tigan suppositories or Compazine. Ask your doctor. I hope you feel better real soon.
Barbara C 0 Posted June 8, 2005 the suppository is suppose to stay put. That means you have to get it above the muscle so it doesn't come out. It has to melt and be absorbed in order to work
