Old Goat 0 Posted May 14, 2009 Hi Guys Last week was good to me lost another 3 pounds puts me at 225 only 6 from just overweight. Mike looks like the challenge is on you at 4 and me at 6 you can do it lets go for it. Rick you were the one that inspired me in the beginning when I was first looking into the Band with your Journey postponements and all 77 pounds is nothing to sneeze at and don't forget I am retired have more time to work at doing the work. mediummike 0 Posted June 18, 2009 Its been a while since I last checked in so figured I would give a quick update. Still hovering just a couple of pounds above goal. Stepped on the scale this morning, which I have not done in about a month. I think I was a little surprised at that. Reason is that I am finding that I fit into less and less of my clothing (even my "skinny" clothes that have been hanging around for years unused in my closet). Definitely shaping up and right now, could care less if I lost another pound. BP is good, off the rack clothing is nice and the compliments don't suck for the ego !! Still love the band - I have not been adjusted for 9 months now (I think I have around 6cc's in a 10cc band). I really don't think about eating, with the exception of generally focusing on Protein. Last night my girls wanted pizza. We went to the local pizza place, I ordered a slice with pepperoni and mushroom and proceeded to eat about 3/4 of it and I was done. Old Goat 0 Posted June 18, 2009 Hi guys this was a really big week for me Sunday I got on the scales dropped another 3 pound. That put me at GOAL, I am now just OVERWEIGHT. After going 5 or 6 weeks with little or no weight loss in these past two weeks I dropped 6 pounds, during this period I stopped keeping a food log and the band does work it makes you stop eating but then I started the log again this week and found their are days I only would get 50 grams of Protein and other days 100 grams so for me think I will continue the logs. Not sure what I will do from here except to just keep eating the same for awhile.:wink: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
