My name is Julie and I just had my surgery this tuesday. I am so excited! I have already lost 12.5 pounds and its still coming off. I am not hungry that much and I haven't thrown up yet. But my husband is wonderful and is keeping track of what I eat, how much and when so that helps alot.

I am still sore from my surgery but not nearly as much as I was right after surgery! I think that everyday gets a little bit better for me. I am so glad that I had this done! I wish all of you as much success as I am having right now!:biggrin2:

I am glad to hear that you are doing so well! I am sure that having your husband's support and help means a lot. I am having the surgery soon. I was just approved on Thursday and am waiting for my surgery date. Good luck and great job!:smile::mad2:

Congratulations Mommypower!

I had my surgery on 8/8/08. I have not weighed in yet, I am waiting for my two week post-op. But I did lose 20lbs pre-surgery, so I am excited. I am still on liquids and should graduate to mushy on Friday.

Congrats on your band! Sounds like the surgery went well and you are feeling great! I got my band on the 5th and I am so excited about losing weight and getting healthy!
