Hi everyone, I was banded on 08-05 after a one year wait and colon surgery after diverticulitis ruptured this year and a colostomy was placed then 3 mths later reversed. So I am learning to live my life now with a new digestive system from Top to Bottom HAHA. My Dr. was Dr. Smith in Fort Worth Texas, he also did my hubby in Oct and I can't say enough about how wonderful he is. I'm doing fine, having more problems with the last colon surgery in June than the band. But am getting bored with my mushies. I will be getting a fill in 2 weeks and have lost 18 lbs. KJ:rolleyes2:

Hi Brooks, welcome to LBT. Hey, been there done that. The diverticulitus thing happened to me in 96. Same thing, same process. Sucks huh? Good luck on your journey and good luck with your overhaul.
