aileena 1 Posted May 31, 2005 Thursday I went in at 7am ( so I could sit around for a couple of hours with my hiney sticking out ) by 10am I was banded. I didn't throw-up or anything! I'm very excited. I was sore for a couple of days and took my pain med but now I'm solo and I'm doing very well, I'm not really having any pain. I am feeling a little bit dizzy and not really with it. What's with that? And it's really odd to feel full, but still feel hungry... I'm back at work today, so wish me well....They have free hamburgers and hot dogs in the break room....Too bad I didn't bring the blender Ohh...I forgot to tell you, they let me go home the same day...I was sleeping in my own bed by 10pm that night

La_madam 20 Posted May 31, 2005 I had the dizzy feeling during the liquid phase but once I added a Protein Drink I felt so much better. It could bewhat you are experiencing. Are you drinking Protein yet?
aileena 1 Posted May 31, 2005 I haven't been very good with my Protein for the last couple of days...I guess it's time to start charting again
Zoe 6 Posted June 1, 2005 Congratulations, and welcome to bandland! The dizziness could be low blood sugar; Protein Drinks are a good idea. Who and where is your doctor? Same-day surgery sounds great.

DtDtKty 0 Posted June 3, 2005 Wow Aileena! It sounds like you are doing great. What a trooper you are. Definitely work on the Protein. It will give you strength and energy as well as keeping your blood sugar up. Best of luck to you.
Road Queen 0 Posted June 3, 2005 Aileena, I was banded the same day as you and got to go home that day also must have been a lucky day. Glad to hear everything is going well for you. I get to have yogurt now so I started putting my whey Protein and Vitamin powder in that. Alot better than Isopure. I am hoping this will give me more energy. Congratulations on everything going so well. Celeste
