TessJ 0 Posted August 13, 2008 Hi Everyone and thank you for all the support. I am now 2 days post op. I have very bad reflux, and all of day 1, I couldn't stop vomiting. Thant is all behind me now and I have started on the Soups and sustigen:thumbdown:, better than Optifast I suppose. Anybody have any suggestions for the reflux, I have tried infacol and that is not working. :crying:
bindi2203 0 Posted August 13, 2008 You really need to get incontact with your surgeon, because there is medication that will help reduce the hydrochloric acid, that is causing your reflux, you dont need to suffer with this, the quicker it is sorted out the better you will feel. mumof2 0 Posted August 24, 2008 I start my clear Fluid diet all day tomorrow fro surgery on Tuesday. I am getting so nervous. I am wondering how I can keep it a secret if people are over for dinner or we are out and I can hardly eat anything. I am worried about vomiting or having problems. I think its all party of the pre surgery nerves. Tess how are you getting on?

I felt the same the day before surgery, i nearly pulled out, now its been 6 months and I have lost just under 40 kilos. I have had a few problems, mainly with reflux and over restricted, but i would not change a thing, it is the best thing I have done. Good luck, i will be thinking of you
