carden 0 Posted August 3, 2008 Hi I am new to the site and feeling pretty nervous as surgery for my lap band is at 8am tommorow the 4th August. I am from Kent in England and all your posts have been a great help to me, but I stilll cannot wait for it to be over. Good luck to any body else who has surgery tommorow would love to hear from you. I keep second-guessing whether I'm doing the right thing, but I know in my heart that it is the right thing, because I'm not living a quality life right now because of the weight. fivestar 0 Posted August 3, 2008 I know what you're going through. My surgery is scheduled for Aug. 7th. It seems like the days a draaaagging along. Just try to keep yourself busy. Hang out with friends, or go for walks. It does help. Good luck. Luvbnanurse 1 Posted August 3, 2008 I was nervous too, even to the point of crying and telling my husband I wanted to leave when they were ready to take me to surgery.
