coltonwade 27 Posted August 3, 2008 That would be something you need to ask your doctor. Did they not send you home w/ a list of specific foods you can have or examples ? Did they say FULL liquids. Because full liquids is not mashed potatoes. Full liquids means anything you can suck through a straw . But if you do not know , they did not send a list then you need to call your docs office ! Every doc is different in what they allow Mindy
krtork 0 Posted August 3, 2008 My nutritionist gave us these guidelines: Protein Drink (Ultra Meal or Bariatric Essentials) Water broth (low sodium) Diluted juice sugar free Jell-O sugar free Popsicles Crystal Light Skim Milk Hope that helps!
krtork 0 Posted August 3, 2008 OOPS! Forgot to add cream Soups. A lot of people have recommended the soups on the go. Easy to warm up and sip from the cup.

My doc did not allow puddings. its not a liquid or yougurts. So when in doubt ask your doc. Mindy
sherich2008 0 Posted August 15, 2008 Colton is correct, each doctor has his own set of rules. Please contact your surgeon's office. If he does not have a list, then ask what can you have. Sheila
