MABurt 0 Posted August 1, 2008 I have finally done it. I was banded yesterday in Temple Texas after a very long wait. I have 100 lbs to lose and can hardly wait to get started. I would love to talk with others about their experience and what I can expect in the weeks and months to come. I feel great except for the soreness in my midsection and I am already looking forward to week 2 food choices. chicken broth and hot tea just are not very satisfying,:cursing: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

jenhay 1 Posted August 2, 2008 I was banded yesterday also, but because it was over an hours drive there, the Doc wanted me to stay the night. I checked in yesterdaY AT 11 thirty pm , had surgery at 1 thirty pm and left the hospital at 4 thirty pm this afternoon. Feel pretty good except for the shoulder pain from the gas which iI am taking gas-X for and the Dr. prescribed pain pills also. Good luck to you all.
