I wish my preop diet was Atkins. It's a low carb liquid diet for a week...ewww.

The Atkins sure did work for me, but every Doc is different.....I forget, where in SC are U and who is your Doc? Nosey, Nosey! All of the shakes on BariacticEating.com are yummy and very hi protien and almost 0 carbs.....Have U tried those?

Hi Gang,

Yes, I just had my surgery on Sept 3rd..... So far so good. I haven't had

any complications such as nausea or vomiting... I'm not really feeling hunger pains too bad. But I seem to be able to drink as much as I like.

I don't know if that's normal or what ? I hate the shakes... trying to drink them as needed but it's a chore... Any suggestions ?

Thanks,

MartiXLardy:confused:

What kinda shakes are you drinking? I am drinking the Carnation Instant Breakfast for the carb conscious with skim milk. It's pretty tasty.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
