GramaLisa 0 Posted July 30, 2008 Hi, I just got back from the sleep study doctor and he has informed me that I have a mild form of sleep apnea that does not require a CPAP machine. I have two prescriptions from him--one for Flonase and the other for an appliance from a dentist to keep my air passages open. The study found that my snoring wakes me up 22 times an hour! The snoring is caused by my being overweight. My BMI is 37.9. Does anyone know if this type of sleep apnea counts as a comorbidity? Thanks!
