3rd time was the charm

I was one of those people who had two fills and could still eat an entire chicken. Last Friday I went for yet another fill and now understand what restriction is. I pb whenever I eat chicken. I am full on 1/2 an english muffin with Protein on it. I am now eating like a normal person. of course, it has been 5 days and I haven't lost any weight but that is OK. I think you have to be really forthcoming with your doctor. I really complained about the lack of restriction and they put in 2 more cc's. Stick with it and continue to go for fills.

I am so happy to hear your post. I just had my second fill last week and I could eat Two chickens.

So I will totally be scheduling for another fill. I can not wait to get to the point I am FULL..

Good for you! It took me five fills to get restriction, that was a week ago. I can eat a nice healthy sized meal, but I do have to take smaller bites, and chew very carefully.... which isn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. Lastnight I had 6 oz. of salmon, and about half a cup of green Beans, and left a few bites on my plate. For Breakfast I had two low-fat waffles with sugar-free Syrup and 2 small links of turkey sausage. I think that is more than some people are able to eat but I think it's a good healthy amount, I try to do 1200 calories a day and most days it ends up being around 1100. I'm not usually "full" at the end of a meal but I'm definitely satisfied. It's much more of a learning process than I expected, but it's all good.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
