Grievous Angel 0 Posted July 30, 2008 Hang in there Terry I have been sleeping with a machine for four years now and it took a while to get used to but it is well worth it once you start getting the deep rest you have been missing, Your energy level will increase and you will feel a lot better. Unlike me you just got banded so you’re going to loose weight and then you won’t need the damn thing at all so you won’t be connected to it for as long as I have been. J We are amazing creatures of habit so after adjusting it will be second nature.
Grievous Angel 0 Posted July 30, 2008 Also check and see if your machine has a ramp up capability; mine can go 5, 10 or 20 minutes where the pressure ramps up slowly giving you time to adjust. I no longer use it but did at the beginning and it helped. By all means also speak to your Pulmonary Doctor too.
