Every Dr and program is different. My Dr didn't include free fills for a year, only the first three months. I understand your frustration though because I've been unhappy with my Dr as well.

That's not the rule with all.....if there's another doctor or aftercare clinic you are interested in, just call and ask!! I did not use my surgeon for my fills for the first 2 years. The doctor that did my fills just charged me for a regular office call and I paid my regular co-pay.

Yes if you go to another doctor they will likely charge you (or your insurance if applicable) for your fills...I don't see them allowing you to transfer your free fill offers to them.

I am guessing you won't be able to "transfer" that program over. Although, if there is another clinic that your interested in, I don't see why they wouldn't take you. They just wont honor your old doc's program...

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
