tarheelladybug 0 Posted July 28, 2008 I was so excited to find this information! I have a call in to my doctor in Mexico because after 2 fills I am still gaining. I went from 285 to 238 in five months, started gaining weight, had a second fill, lost twelve and have gained 22 since then. I'm now back up to 252 and very disappointed, but it sounds like I just haven't found the right restriction yet. I'm making another appt. for a fill - hope the third time is a charm. tarheelladybug 0 Posted July 29, 2008 I'm trying to still stay within the guidelines, but it's hard when I got the lapband because I couldn't control my eating in the first place. For about two weeks after my fills, I feel restricted and can't eat even the 1/2 cup of food at meals and do lose weight, but then I become able to eat anything and it is a constant fight to not eat constantly. I don't know if I am just not restricted enough or maybe have a leak of the saline. I'm getting another fill next week and hope it helps. I'll talk to the doctor then too. lessme 0 Posted July 29, 2008 HeatherO You have done so well. I am fascinated with how you asked for agressive fills. I am afraid to ask for that. I have had one fill of 3.4cc.
