squeekersinfl 0 Posted July 28, 2008 I was banded on Jan 23, 2008 at Eglin Hosp. Three days after my husband left for a four month deployment. I have lost nearly 45lbs with 65 to go. The hubby is now home and happy to be here. Then on the 15th I found out that I am pregnant. I can't help but be nervous. I original surgeon has left and I now have another surgeon who is caring for me but I'm concerned. He wants to take all of the Fluid out my band. I have read that it isn't necessary to remove all of the fluid. But he is bent on removing all of my fluid. I just don't know what to do. I am really not comfortable with this new surgeon or his nurse. I want other options. Anybody got any advice
losingjusme 12 Posted July 29, 2008 talk to your OB. what you two decide should prevail.
armywife4life 0 Posted July 30, 2008 check the prego forum and see others experience, but if he wants to take the Fluid out because he is worried about the baby let him. The baby comes first. You can always restart after you deliver a nice healthy child.

rodriguezequal 3 Posted December 4, 2008 My surgeon told me that if I was to get pregnant that they would completely unfill my band so that could get down more nutrition...now that you are pregnant you have to think of what is best for your baby...you can lose weight after :cursing: good luck
