MissMom24 2 Posted July 28, 2008 I had to get a replacement drivers license, because I lost mine. I was going to go in, show my proof of residence and pay my $7.00. The lady was staring at the screen and looking at me sideways, she just kept shaking her head and told me that she couldn't give me a replacement, because I was not the same person on the screen. Needless to say, after new paper work, more lines and $22.00 later...I am the proud owner of a new license with the "new" picture on the front!

JRT Mom 919 Posted July 28, 2008 What a great story! I have to renew mine next year and I hope that the same thing happens! I just hope they don't have problems with my passport--those things are too expensive to have to get a new one.

betrthnever 107 Posted July 28, 2008 Something similar has happened to me, too!! I've lost lots of weight since my last license pic, not all of it since being banded. I think I'm about 80 pounds lighter then my pic. I've had people do double-takes like when buying booze. They say I look older in the pic which is great. So I lost weight & age. Can't complain there!
