I have thought about attending a local support group but from what I hear I will be the baby of the bunch. If you are interested in being my buddy shoot me a line and we can exchange email info. eclipse 0 Posted July 28, 2008 I am 27 year old female, had the lap band on March 20, 2007 by Dr. Spivak. To date I have lost 98 lbs. I'm struggling hitting that 100 lbs mark, but I will get there (soon I hope). Good luck with your surgery, I know you will do great. I see your in Houston, I'm in Houston to!
