baker46 0 Posted July 25, 2008 I am from Long Island, NY and have surgery performed yesterday. After the procedure, everything was fine with just a but of soreness. Today was the first day I could leave the hospital and I am finding I am having difficulty drinking enen little sips of Water let alone yoghurt. Over a period of several hours, I drank about four ounces of water. That stayed down for a while. Several hours later with no additional intake (except saliva) I regurgatated a quantity of slime and water in excess of what I have drunks. About two hours later, same thing again. Is this normal after placement action.) You could forstall my making an idiot of myself if I have to call the doctor (who otherwise am going to try to reach the doctor.) :smile2:
BellaPerdente 0 Posted July 25, 2008 Did you say yogurt? Did you surgeon put you on a clear liquid diet for the first few days? I would call. I did not have anything come back up. they gave me a popsicle in the hospital and it was good. I did not force anything for a couple of days. Popsicle were my friend. Long2BFree 12 Posted July 25, 2008 If you had yogurt that might be your problem with regurgitation... my people become lactose intolerant after being banded. I would double check with your surgeon about what you can have at this stage. Most are on a clear liquid at this point after having surgery.
