cjbabey 0 Posted July 23, 2008 Hi all..I have been attempting lap band surgery for two years. I just changed insurance almost a year ago that would allow lap band or gastric bypass. Of course then it has taken me another 6mos to get my paperwork in order. Now to lose the 10 lbs to get in line for surgery. I am having a hard time. I am doing Jazzercise 3-4 timea a week but I guess I am still eating too much because I am not losing much.

I am new on here but thought even though I have had the band would say I hope all goes well for you and you manage to loose the weight you need to have the op.
The Fireman 1 Posted July 23, 2008 I've never understood why some doctors require a weight loss before surgery. If I was able to do that I wouldnt need the surgery. My surgeon did not require this.
