ckelly37 1 Posted July 22, 2008 Hi everyone, My Surgery is scheduled for Sept 8! I can't wait im so excited! I had to stop smoking 6 weeks before surgery so i decided to try it now(which is hard) but im one week in so im doin great! Has anyone here smoked before the band and after the band?? frenchvanilla 0 Posted July 22, 2008 I quit smoking 7 months before i got banded and havent touched them again! Amen! try to not light up again its the best thing you can do for yourself, i quit with a prescription from my doctor they gave me chantix and it really worked i smoked for over 20 years a pack day, i wish you the best!!!!
