shayne_316 0 Posted July 22, 2008 Hi, I am 35 years old and had the banding done in March of this year. i have not lost but 16 pounds and 0 inches. My biggest problem is my port. My port flipped and moved around so last month (June) my Dr. reattached it. Last week it came undone again. I am so at my wits end with this hole thing. Sometimes I feel like I made a big mistake.
Melody2006 1 Posted July 22, 2008 Oh my gosh! What a pain. Can you tell me how they found out it flipped and what it takes and what they charge to re-attach it? I was just banded on 7/15/08 and I've seen it mentioned here a few times about ports flipping but I always wondered what was all involved in fixing it and if they charge you to fix it. shayne_316 0 Posted July 22, 2008 I don't know what causes it....it just happens...I went through True Results and they paid for it to be re-attached however, they are getting tired of me and my lap band problem. I called today and I believe they were more worried about the cost it would cost them. They want to put me under a local this time (when they fix it)and I am not sure what that means. They said I would be awake...I do not think I want to be awake...that does not seem natural. But back to your question , that is what I want to know is how and why does this happen.
