Going thru the process

Hello Everyone. My name is Page and I am currently going through the steps to get my Lapband. Due to insurance I have to do 6 months of diet guidence. I am over half way done. I have joined Curves so I can kick start my diet. I have been a big person all of my life and I am ready for change. Not to feel pretty but to be healthy. I want to change my life style so that I can climb the moutains and swim the seas. I am scared to death. But at the same time I am afraid of another failed diet. Any support and advise would be appreciated. :thumbup:

Relax, you'll be amazed how quickly that six months will go. You'll have all your pre-op appointments and you'll have time to read everything you can before you go into surgery. I was suppose to wait 6 months and somehow it got moved up to 4 months. I didn't ask questions! LOL In fact mine moved so fast I didn't have but one week for the pre-op liquid diet. POOR ME! Good luck and keep checking back here. This site has great info.
