mem123 0 Posted July 21, 2008 I was banded on July 14, I had terrible nausea that first and second day, mostly when I moved around. Gas pain was bad too for the first few days, it's just a little anoying now. I can't tell if I'm hungry or have gas most of the time! Port area hurts though. I'm off any pain pills, may take tylenol if I really have to do something. Who else woke up after surgery and thought, "What the #@* have I done to myself?!":w00t:

That's exactly what I thought - but each day you feel better by the 3rd day I was doing really good - 4th day even better and back to work day 6.... Port site hurts the longest - but that goes a way in a couple of weeks. Wanta know how I feel 1 yr later.. LIKE A BRAND NEW PERSON !!! I HAVE 200% MORE ENGERY !!! I FEEL TEN YRS YOUNGER !!! I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEART BEAT !!! Here's what 100 lbs and year later looks like on a 50+ woman.. Work your band and this is what you can acheive - Remember it's only a tool - you gotta do the work by changing your eating habits & exercising - this is truly a lifetime lifestyle change.. IndioGirl55 32 Posted July 21, 2008 wow u look great :blushing: i would never had guessed 50 That's sweet - feel 43 instead of 53.... It's a good thing that you have been banded now and not waste anymore years being fat... You are lucky to have this tool to help you now not 28 yrs from now... Good Luck - Do the work and you don't need luck..
Donna113 2 Posted July 21, 2008 I don't know if it's because I have a killer toothache but I have no more discomfort at all from the surgery. I can "feel" the port and the incisions sites are itching (I guess they are healing). Coincidentally, I got an infection in my lower left molar and it's hurting so bad that I don't really notice any other discomforts.
