dwrd73 0 Posted July 18, 2008 Welcome to the forum. I think you will like it. You will also find lots of valuable information here to help you through your surgery. I am also getting banded in August on the 25th. Take a ticker just go to tickerfactory.com and follow the directions. Copy and paste the bb code into you signature. It's that easy. Big As Life 0 Posted July 18, 2008 Malory, This is a very easy surgery...you will be put under, but wake up really fast..or at least that was my experience...you will have lots of gas pains, but I just took liquid gas-x..I went back for surgery at 9:30 a.m. and was home by 11:00 a.m....I was at a surgery center.. REMEMBER: FOLLOW YOUR DOCTORS INSTRUCTIONS..... DO EXACTLY AS HE TELLS YOU.....WORK WITH YOUR BAND...DON'T TRY TO SEE HOW MUCH YOU CAN EAT(WHEN YOU ARE ABLE TO EAT) SEE HOW LITTLE YOU CAN EAT AND STILL BE FULL.... GOOD LUCK....I HOPE ALL GOES WELL FOR YOU...
